Your responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the strategic KEE plans, their processes and management tools together with the heads of Medical Affairs departments at regional and local level to ensure a KEE objective plan for the company
  • Provide oversight of the implementation and constantly follow up with the execution of the above-country KEE objective plan to be used by the company and all affiliates to ensure full KEE centricity and optimal account management
  • Ensure high quality scientific communication in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support, develop, implement and lead scientific events and other initiatives to educate KEEs on company-specific developments, products and studies
  • Manage educational activities for the training of skills and competencies of the employees that have medico-scientific interactions and develop and establish a European wide connection of the organization; make sure the right strategy, processes and tools are in place to train the MSLs on contents and customer orientation
  • Foster strategic development and implementation of Medical Affairs exchange strategy in Europe
  • Align scientific communication with internal and external stakeholders on an above country level, work with the members of the company affiliates to insure that Regional/ Country specific SE programs are globally aligned and implemented
  • In collaboration with the Medical Information Lead, medical directors and other relevant stakeholders, ensure the optimal implementation and usage of the European Medical information tool
  • Build a network of key internal and external stakeholders in agreeing and implementing strategic direction and operational implementation and present the company in a competent manner
  • Promote the company internally and externally through interaction with KEEs, regulatory agencies, scientific bodies, associations and collaborative groups
  • Monitor and actively communicate to key stakeholders and functional areas within the region to keep them abreast with planned and ongoing SE/MA activities and trends, processes and overall relevant operational information
  • Analyse, interpret and apply current medical standards, state of the art science and future trends in all SE/MA activities
  • Interpret and apply regulations/policies within all assigned tasks
  • Analyse, assess, manage and communicate SE/MA compliance risks to company Management, and insure escalation of risks and solutions

Your qualifications

  • MD, Doctor of Medicine or University degree in life sciences, Ph.D Doctor of Philosophy preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, experience in hematology or oncology is a plus
  • Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
  • Strong IT skills and a scientific mindset
  • Ability to act as an advocate for the company
  • Competence to manage several complex tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work in English – negotiation skills in written and spoken English and another European language
