Your tasks

  • Accountable for the overall steering of the global corporate HR function to provide strategic direction and ensure operational excellence
  • Responsible for providing updates to the Management Board regarding internal/external trends, industry standards and compliance topics
  • Functional leadership for HR & HR Practice Leaders worldwide
  • Accountable for all activities within the full employee life cycle to ensure that our client is staffed with an engaged population of highly talented and developable employees using the necessary tools, processes and technology
  • Guarantee uniform clients Quality standards in the field of HR
  • Plan, direct and control the strategy for overall HR policies
  • Responsible for HR business planning in collaboration with business leaders and Controlling to ensure mutual agreement of  business plans and financial objectives
  • Review and design HR organizational structure and processes to guarantee optimal internal and external customer-oriented results
  • Support organizational development and change management Group-wide
  • Ensure development of Group-wide approaches and global implementation for all aspects of Organizational Development, Compensation and Benefits, HR Operations and HR Business Partnering
  • Ensure consistency between global framework and local implementation
  • Lead succession planning and provide oversight on staffing process for key positions Group-wide
  • Establish self as sought after resource in all areas that affect the employees of our client to optimize results, while at the same time, mitigate risks. 

Your qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • A long-term and successful track-record as an executive level Global HR leader in a generalist capacity for a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Experience in the development of a newly established HR operating model 
  • Experience working with and advising senior management teams, including analysis and recommendations
  • Experience working in a matrix organization, ideally in a Life Sciences or Med-Tech organization.
  • Understand business processes and associated financial implications
  • Firm understanding of all Employee Life Cycle topics = talent acquisition, onboarding, management, development and off-boarding as well as the numerous sub-categories within these major topics.
  • Experience with: Microsoft Office, Workday, ADP (or equivalent Human Capital Management and Payroll tools)
  • Business fluency in English and German, additional languages beneficial
  • Good business partnering skills including effective communication, cross group collaboration, interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels (Collaboration)
  • Detail oriented and thorough with ability to think cross-functional and globally in a simultaneous fashion.  Understand the key trends and levers that drive the business (Customer Focus)
