Your tasks

  • Timely processing of adverse event information of both marketed products and those under development
  • Including follow-up of local safety reports with healthcare professionals and reporting to the national competent authority
  • Participate at the training of students in Pharmacy during their mandatory internship on relevant aspects related to collection, assessment and communication of drug risks
  • Ensure timely receipt of adverse event reports by regular monitoring of fax machines and email systems
  • Ensure that data protection requirements are met
  • Accurate and medically / pharmaceutically correct translation in English of the adverse event information received
  • Maintain current awareness of pharmacovigilance legislation
  • Assist with local literature screening for adverse event information
  • Capturing, follow-up and ensure the appropriate persons are notified of locally reported Product Quality Complaints
  • To contribute effectively as part of the  companies Global Safety network

Your qualifications

  • Life science/Pharmacy degree
  • Attention to detail and reliable
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry (pharmacovigilance preferred, alternatively medical information or regulatory affairs)
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and verbal including medical / pharmaceutical terminology
  • Strong identification with the companies values
