Your tasks

  • develop and execute a measurable, integrated umbrella communications strategy for the oncology and hematology franchises to raise the profile of our customer in cancer care and to elevate the company’s commitment to the cancer community, aligning with the Corporate reputation strategy
  • consider appropriate multi-channel approach for all communications opportunities, leveraging data and analytics to inform and deploy strategic plans
  • develop and execute the brand communication strategy for oncology/solid tumors (marketed products and pipeline), including value and HTA communication, issues and crisis management
  • develop and manage disease awareness and education initiatives and partnerships, create a variety of content (i.e., disease education, thought leadership) for internal and external channels, oversee management of oncology related disease awareness channels
  • create and oversee the implementation of an integrated external engagement plan targeted towards patient advocacy organizations in oncology/hematology and position our customer as a trusted partner among the community of patient organizations
  • Responsible for the inclusion of the patient and caregiver voice among cross-functional projects
  • work cross functionally in the area of oncology with Business Unit, Medical Affairs, Market Access and also relevant worldwide functions
  • Interact with selected media and influencers
  • establish and manage annual budget in a cost-effective manner including partnerships with suppliers and vendors
  • evaluate and measure activities based on KPI for oncology

Your qualifications

  • Profound experience in the corporate affairs and brand communication area in the pharmaceutical sector in an agency or corporate setting, previous experience in oncology communications preferred
  • Understanding of the general healthcare and biopharma product landscape and opportunities, with experience in oncology/hematology a plus
  • Proven track record of driving and delivering high impact measurable integrated communication campaigns in healthcare which support business objectives
  • Strong network of contacts amongst German media and patient advocacy organizations
  • Good understanding of the political environment Germany and ability to interpret how the external changes can impact our client and its reputation
  • External-focused mindset and ability to think strategically in a creative and innovative manner
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast changing environment and handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Energetic, entrepreneurial and passionate about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the client and their vision to transform patients` lives through science.
