Your tasks


  • Market Access input in clinical trial design with specific focus on AMNOG relevant topics: choice of endpoints, patient populations, comparator, validation of endpoints, MCID
  • Market Access input and review of all relevant documents for the clinical trials (protocol, SAP, methodological input e.g. on validation of endpoints and MCID)
  • Develop access strategy for the German market in consideration of the specific requirements of the indication of interest
  • Provide feedback on data gaps to Global teams and highlight potential consequences on outcome of an AMNOG assessment and pricing implications.
  • Support all efforts for data generation with specific focus on German AMNOG requirements, i.e. input in phase-III-design, supporting registry set ups etc.


Value & Access Projects:

  • Stays up to date with health politics, law changes and procedural developments in Market Access context with specific and detailed focus on the indications of our client's pipeline, e.g. orphan disease and ATMPs
  • Stays up to date with IQWIG and GBA methods
  • Develops and suggests innovative pricing models if applicable
  • Overview of reimbursement structure in Germany


Crossfunctional Cooperations

  • Representation of Value & Access in crossfunctional teams at global and local level
  • Proactive input of Market Access perspective


Controlling and Project Management

  • Sr. Manager Value & Acess New Products is responsible for the selection and commission of vendors for the project
  • Budget planning and controlling


Additional Information:

  • (Sr.) Manager is responsible for all AMNOG – related topics for pipeline products (GBA-Advice on Phase-III study designs, joint advices, input in SAP writing, critical assessment of clinical trails from a German perspective, input and proactive integration of specific German requirements in Phase-III-Designs, data requirements for Germany)
  • Supports strategic scenario analysis for launch of pipeline products from a Value & Access perspective, special focus on AMNOG and pricing implications
  • Represents Germany in all Global pricing and reimbursement considerations for pipeline products
  • Specialist in all relevant procedural and content requirements for successful AMNOG process, also familiar with special requirements for Orphans and ATMPs
  • Close collaboration with crossfunctional New Products team on local and global level, core representative of Value & Access within these teams
  • Overiew of reimbursement structures in Germany beyond AMNOG, e.g. specific requirements but also opportunities for gene therapies
  • Develops innovative pricing models for Germany for new products also beyond AMNOG, focused on the opportunities of the respective product

Your qualifications

  • Master of science or economics; equivalent degree possible
  • Min 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience including work in pharmaceutical industry in HEOR/Market Access/R&D or other institutions of the health care system (sickness funds, G-BA, GKV-SV etc.)
  • Experience with AMNOG processes, clinical trial design and the requirements of the German market for New Launch Products
  • Profound knowledge of IQWIG methods and AMNOG requirements on clinical data
  • Experience in working and collaborating in cross-functional teams on global and local level
  • Strong analytical and strategical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Independent team worker
  • Fluent in English
