Your Tasks

  • Developing and executing the local marketing plan, in line with the European Marketing plan
  • Planning the marketing mix for the product portfolio and builds a multi-channel engagement strategy for the relevant audiences ensuring local customer needs and market requirements are met
  • Close local cross-funtional alignment with the medical, market access and sales team on strategies and tactics and in developing customer relations with external experts
  • Developing strategic communications and/or training materials for internal and external customers
  • Managing allocated budget and resources effectively
  • Continually reviewing the company’s performance  (sales, brand equity, customers’ loyalty, etc.) in order to be able to react adequately to market developments
  • Participating in the development of business strategies and the planning of their implementation
  • Collaborating closely with the relevant European teams to ensure that marketing, sales, market access and medical strategies and programmes are designed and implemented in an aligned and complementary way. Providing the European team with input on development compounds and LCM matters
  • Ensure compliance of branded tactics in line with core product messaging and e.g. branded commercial material, internet & social media
  • Driving cross functional communication and contributes to organizational growth and team spirit as well es taking ownership for own development as well as team development

Your Qualifications

  • University degree, MBA or advanced degree in relevant subject (Medicine, Natural sciences, Health economics or Business Administration)
  • Several years (5-10+) of professional experience in marketing / product management or sales of pharmaceuticals / medical technology
  • Experience in leading crossfunctional teams and experience in Sales roles
  • Specialty medicine and/or orphan disease working experience preferable, desirable in the areas of infectious disease and haematology
  • Marketing experience alongside proven track record in sales and marketing for prescription only products; desirable hospital product
  • Positive experience and credential with KOL’s (excellent reputation in the external market and credible (& proven) relationships with KOL’s)
  • Excellent communication skills; strong English oral and written
  • Team player and ability to collaborate cross functionally and regionally
  • Familiarity with the German Market Access environment; desirable hospital product reimbursement knowledge
  • Experience in working with specialists belonging to our target groups
  • Hands-on marketing project ability with a clear "customer needs approach"
  • Experience in working & leading crossfunctional teams; experience in Sales roles desirable
