Your tasks

  • Align scientific communication with internal and external stakeholders on an above country level, work with the members of the affiliates to ensure that Regional/ Country specific Scientific Engagement and Patient Advocacy programs are globally aligned, adapted and cascaded down to a local level.
  • Foster strategic development and implementation of Medical Affairs exchange strategy in Europe.
  • Build a network of key internal and external stakeholders in agreeing and implementing strategic direction and operational implementation and present Scientific Engagement and Patient Advocacy in a competent manner and promote them internally and externally through interaction with KEEs and Patient Advocacy in conjunction with regulatory agencies, scientific bodies, associations and collaborative groups.
  • To coordinate the implementation of the strategic Scientific Engagement and Patient Advocacy plans, their processes and management tools together with the heads of Medical Affairs departments at regional and local level to ensure a common objective plan for the company
  • Provide oversight of the implementation and continuously follow up with the execution of the above-country Scientific Engagement and Patient Advocacy objective plan to be used by the company and all affiliates to ensure full customer centricity
  • Support, develop, implement and lead scientific events and other initiatives in collaboration with PA. Ensure high quality scientific communication in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders to continuously educate on specific developments, products and studies.
  • Monitor and actively communicate to key stakeholders and functional areas within the region to keep them abreast with planned and ongoing Scientific Engagement / Patient Advocacy activities and trends, processes and overall relevant operational information.
  • Analyze, interpret and apply current medical standards, state of the art science and future trends in all Scientific Engagement / Patient Advocacy activities.
  • Interpret and apply regulations/policies within all assigned tasks. Analyze. Assess, manage, and communicateScientific Engagement / Patient Advocacy compliance and ensure escalation of risks and solutions.

Your qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs
  • MD or University degree in life sciences, PhD preferred
  • Experience in hematology or oncology is a plus
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to work in English – negotiation skills in written and spoken English and
    preferably in another European language
  • Scientific mindset
  • Ability to act as an advocate for the company
  • Hands on mentality
  • Can do attitude, ability to manage several complex tasks at the same time
