Your responsibilities

  • Support with effective implementation of defined core commercial training programs across Europe including Headquarters and Affiliates
  • Responsibility for the execution of defined training programs and activities across Europe that support key commercial initiatives in oncology, KAM and innovation
  • Work closely with oncology business stakeholders to design, develop and implement leading training and development programs for oncology customer facing teams in particular
  • Take responsibility for the companies led learning platform
  • Build a network of stakeholders in the affiliates and the company to create alliances which will further support the training and development goals of the department
  • Ability to proactively measure and audit the effectiveness of training program implementation, and take the necessary corrective measures to ensure that learning goals are achieved
  • Work closely with training colleagues in the affiliates and take a lead on building and nurturing an effective training 'community' across Europe
  • Ability to effectively project manage parallel training programs and activities and demonstrates an ability to priorities activities.
  • Provide effectively performance coaching support to commercial and medical field based colleagues, especially in the oncology team
  • Design and develop all required training tools and methodologies based on a detailed brief for key training programs
  • Work effectively with partner companies, agencies and vendors to ensure optimal delivery of training programs and activities
  • Ability to critique the effectiveness of agency performance and taking effective measures when underperformance has been identified
  • Adaptable to the ever-changing requirements of the company commercial environment, and ability to support emerging projects that may not have a direct correlation with training needs
  • The position is reporting to the Director Commercial Capabilities within the department Affiliate and Partner Management

Your qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • University degree
  • Minimum of 5-8 years industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills & strategies that secures senior management support and end-user buy
  • Powerful networking and alliance building capabilities
  • High level presentation skills combined with impact and presence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver to deadlines and budget targets
  • Resourceful, creative and above all, adaptive personality
  • Team player, open-minded, flexible, proactive, motivated and willing to learn and develop
  • Proven ability to successfully work within a Matrix environment and project management skills
  • Experience of working in an international environment and English on a proficiency level
  • Hands-on in style, willing to ‘pitch in’ to get things done
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Travel Requirement min. 15%
