Your tasks

  • Establishes, builds and strengthens relationships with haemophilia Patient Advocacy groups
  • Develops a broad network of personal contacts with haemophilia advocacy groups and leads relationship building and activities of mutual interest with these stakeholders. Utilise these relationships, as needed, to facilitate discussions on access to innovative treatments. Identify areas of common interest for the company and work to ensure the company’s leadership position in haemophilia to the external community.
  • Represent the company at key advocacy organization meeting and events.
  • Play key role in bring patient voice back to the different business units within the company; leverage patient insights across functions to inform the company’s strategies
  • Oversees grant and sponsorship process for haemophilia groups; actively works with patient advocacy groups on the submission and approval process.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all program planning and execution.
  • Ensures key activities are implemented in a timely manner and that activities are prioritised in line with strategic focus of the company

Your qualifications

  • University degree in science, economics, healthcare or patient care management
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a healthcare or healthcare related business environment, ideally in an international company in a management role
  • In-depth knowledge of patient management
  • Experience in haemophilia preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of patient management
  • Highly professional attitude characterized by a customer oriented working style
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to coordinate initiatives in an environment of different stakeholder expectations
  • Very good communication skills (oral and written) in both German and English – further foreign language e.g. French is an advantage
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Rigorously well organised with a respect for timelines and deadlines
  • High level of flexibility, openness and empathy
  • “Can-do” approach, optimistic attitude and resilient under time pressure and workload demands
  • Seeks continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 50%), mainly across Germany
