Your tasks

  • Contribute to the development of the Medical component of the Brand Strategy, and develop a Medical Plan for each assigned product, in support of the Brand Plans. Develop and implement therapeutic area specific medical plans and publication plans
  • Lead the management of Investigator Initiated Studies , phase lV clinical studies in the Germany affiliate ensuring: proper documentation, contracts, oversight, payments, drug, shipments, logistics.
  • Lead the management of Gants & Sponsorships ensuring proper documentation, contracts and payment
  • Work with the Germany Medical Director to develop the Key Opinion Leader and Stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overall strategic brand plans
  • Management of publications related to the brands
  • Create and deliver brand training to the Medical Scientific Liaison Manager team
  • Provide or collaborate with the Medical Scientific Liaison Manager team to develop scientific tools required for them ro successfully perform their job 
  • Contribute to the development, attendance and presentations at appropriate meetings (advisory board meetings, investigator Meetings, Key Opinion Leader Meetings, CME, clients meetings, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship and interact directly with EU Medical Affairs, clinical Operations, other clients affiliates to understand global strategy and share best practices
  • Provide crossfunctional therapeutic and product expertise to international customers in all therapy areas.
  • Support the marketing and market access strategy for all products by being a key member on cross functional teams
  • Develop and maintain upto-date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing the literature, discussions with Key Opinion Leaders and key stakeholders, participating in cross functional interactions, attending scientific congresses, etc.
  • Maintain up to date clinical knowledge in appropriate overall strategic an operational input into clients objectives
  • Review promotional materials and Regulatory documents for medical accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations
  • Develop presentation materials as required
  • Provide therapeutic area training as needed
  • Support the development/revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required
  • Ensure all Medical activities are compliant with appropriate SOP’s Good Clinical Practice and ICH guidelines
  • Participate in personal development and training sessions.
  • Work in a safe manner that does not endanger yourself or coworkers

Your qualifications

  • University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, or medicine and a PhD
  • Minimum two years’ experience as an Medical Scientific Liaison Manager/MA (or similar role)
  • Experience in working crossfunctionally with commercial teams
  • Key Opinion Leader mapping and engagement planning
  • Demonstrated ability to enter a new therapy area and rapidly become knowledgeable on the therapy area and product data
  • Practical Knowledge of handling of Medical Information queries
  • Ethical and honest behavior and standards
  • Able to consider issues from the Healthcare Professional and patient perspective
  • Able to work flexibly on a dayby-day basis when the business requires it
  • Demonstrable good interpersonal interactions skills, with Colleagues and Healthcare Professionals and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Have maturity/gravitas in dealings with Healthcare Professionals
  • Attitude that is entrepreneurial in nature, willing to look for new ways to work with Colleagues and customers
  • Willingness to find novel approaches to solve problems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfuntional environment
  • Ability to travel internationally as required to support the clients at scientific congresses
  • Computer literacy (word processing, internet searching, use of PubMed or MedLine to search for literature, familiarity with commonly used technology)
