Your Tasks

  • Development, implementation and responsibility for the local market access strategies to maximise the access and reimbursement of our products.
  • Development of brand-specific market access plans and conduct of risk assessments
  • Development and responsibility for the overall strategic concept for the benefit assessment process for innovative drugs (AMNOG dossier, benefit assessment)
  • Pricing strategy and negotiation with the GKV-SV (Spitzenverband)
  • Development and responsibility for the market access communication strategy as well as the activities and tactics
  • Development, implementation (incl. negotiation) of collaboration projects and contracts with payers
  • Input to issue management plans regarding brand specific market access activities
  • Successful communication of german benefit requirements to global, regional and local level
  • Support of the Commercial Director, the management team and the brand teams in all questions regarding the market access for the assigned products
  • Budget responsibility for the brand specific market access activities
  • Collaboration with associations and other market access organisations and coordination of the external market access activities of the assigned products
  • Development and implementation of market access trainings for office and field colleagues
  • Development and maintainance of solid and reliable contacts to representatives of IQWiG, G-BA, health economic organisations, decision makers and influencers for market access decisions and national payers

Your qualification

  • University degree, MBA or advanced degree in relevant subject (e.g. Health Care Management, Nature Science, Economics)
  • Diploma as State approved Medical Representative or equivalent qualifications to meet AMG requirements
  • In-depth working experience from German Market Access, payer and pricing environment
  • First-hand experience through AMNOG dossier preparation and AMNOG procedure and pricing negotiations
  • Sound experience and insight into the german healthcare system, the health legislation as well as the german (and European) market access requirments
  • Experience and competence in evidence based medicine and health economics in Germany
  • Experience in reimbursement, pricing, negotiations and contracting desirable
  • In-depth understanding of German pricing and Market Access requirements, regulations, dynamics
  • Indication specific knowledge and market access experience desirable
  • Competent in critical review and appraisal of data & evidence based medicine in order to understand the implications for value to all stakeholders
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate market access position in a cross-functional setting
  • Proven ability to successfully work and lead in cross-functional teams:
    • the interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a matrix environment
    • formulation and implementation of strategic direction for their area of expertise and successfully deliver business objectives
  • Excellent organisational skills and comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to suggest and implement appropriate activities and structures
  • Proven ability to work with and develop patient-based models, forecasting scenarios
  • Excellent English knowledge
