Your tasks

The Mission: be part of the architect team that will shape the future environment in means of market access in germany for our client. This contains the assignment to help build up a team of future market access and HTA Managers

 

  • Nurture and manage strong and professional relationships with HTA bodies and policy-makers at the national level, in particular the G-BA and the IQWiG to ensure appropriate prioritization of access issues pertaining to care with the company's products.
  • Drive market shaping for pipeline assets and provide stakeholders with necessary understanding of the company's future assets and services and their respective value proposition.
  • Review development programs for the company's pipeline assets within cross-functional teams in the context of market access requirements and pricing opportunities defined through the AMNOG process.
  • Coordinate and manage HTA advice seeking and consultation activities for the pipeline assets.
  • Condense and interpret payer/HTA feedback to inform Phase III development and to provide solid input to the company's  senior management/decision-makers.
  • Lead AMNOG dossier development and the submission and hearing process by establishing closely collaborating international as well as local cross-functional teams
  • Co-develop pricing strategy and coordinate preparation for the price negotiation process.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with healthcare policy decision-makers/stakeholders to understand the evolving environment and the position of the company's products within this.
  • Develop and implement payer partnership programs/initiatives which enhance the understanding and perception of payers and policy makers/stakeholders regarding unmet medical needs of interest to the company's to inform future health policy or to enhance implementation of existing policy.
  • Develop and implement payer partnership programs/initiatives which improve patient access to care which enhance the company's corporate brand equity.

Your qualifications

  • Life-sciences/Healthcare Management degree or similar educational background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical access roles with proven success.
  • Substantial exposure to the AMNOG process in particular the early benefit assessment as well as to national price negotiations.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of healthcare structure, policy and governance across country.
  • A solid knowledge of the principles of evidence-based medicine and the applicability of health outcomes measures.

  • Identifying opportunities and taking action to build strategic relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.

  • Builds collaborative relationships and takes action to meet customer needs paying close attention to local regulations, laws and codes of conduct.
  • Identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis (approx. 40%).
  • Fluent in German and English.
