Your tasks

  • Development of international brand strategy (positioning, branding, messaging) in close cooperation with the global team
  • Responsible for development and implementation of marketing tool kits, marketing plans and communication activities to support achievement of budgeted sales and contribution targets
  • Development and implementation of communication concepts and activities for all communication channels to achieve all short and medium-term goals
  • Definition of critical success factors for the planned marketing measures and their continuous review; planning and control of the marketing budget, sales and turnover
  • Securing the launch preparation, as well as the successful introduction into the market
  • Leading the overall (e.g. approval, market research, supply chain) brand team to achieve maximum launch success
  • Training of field staff/KAM, organisation and implementation of internal meetings and events
  • Close cooperation with Medical and Compliance for rule-compliant execution and planning of campaigns
  • Close cooperation and control of agencies and external service providers
  • Analysis of internal and external data regarding product performance and activities and the derivation of appropriate measures
  • Organisation, implementation and participation in relevant national congresses and event
  • Implementing global marketing plans and establishing realistic budget objectives
  • Providing business cases and forecasts and developing sound control for great cost efficiency
  • Global-Life-Cycle-Management, contribution for product innovations
  • Negotiating and coordinating price corridors previous to product launches
  • Closely collaborating with the Launch Management, Approval, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Global Sales etc. areas
  • Excels in effective and skillful communication with organizations and management of external agencies and other business partners
  • Establishment and optimization of internal processes
  • Monitoring and observing the competitive landscape

Your qualifications

  • University degree in business administration or business management, economics or related field or equivalent scientific degree/ natural sciences
  • Ideally more than 3 years of professional experience in the field of international brand management and relevant professional experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical industry (RX and OTC)
  • Experience in distribution is an advantage
  • Mastery of the marketing mix (including online marketing)
  • Good experience in market analysis & research and of digital marketing as part of the entire marketing mix
  • Comprehension of the target groups, MDs, pharmacists and consumers
  • Experienced in service management and budget control
  • Good project management and organisational skills: ability to multi-task and manage a complex and varied workload to deadlines and works well under pressure
  • Creativity, proactive and analytical working methods as well as a high level of commitment and self-motivation are required for this task
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to persuade, guide and convince
  • High sense of responsibility, reliability and excellent teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Sufficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
