Your tasks

  • Plans and conducts medical and scientific activities according to all relevant rules, regulations and SOPs
  • Collaborates efficiently across functions and provide medical-scientific input and judgment 
  • Uses medical and scientific insight to support the development of regional and global strategies, plans and tactics
  • Co-develops affiliate guidance specifically on Medical Affairs topics in close cooperation with cross-functional international teams and lead/monitor the implementation
  • Establishes a close, effective and efficient network of external and internal contacts to monitor and influence the development of medical-scientific opinions
  • Function as primary expert Medical Affairs contact for affiliates and external experts/customers
  • Drives management of KOL, professional societies and other key external stakeholders
  • Presents and represents the established and newly developed evidence as well as the company's medical-scientific concepts and beliefs with external and internal audiences
  • Provides critical scientific input to regional & local market access teams for value dossiers/HTAs of new cardiovascular drugs to support reimbursement and launch in EU

Your qualifications

  • University degree in Medical Sciences or Life Sciences
  • Minimum of 5-8 years' working experience in Medical Affairs 
  • Relevant experience in developing scientific material, the review processes, planning and organization of training and scientific exchange meetings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrable intercultural competency and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent English skills in written and spoken; fluency in a second major European language would be an advantage
  • Experience in Cardiology/Thrombosis
  • Proven track record to manage multiple projects and leadership skills, also in matrix organizations
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills as well as passion for science
