Scope of Responsibilities

  • Represents market Engagement Planning and Content Capabilities team as a single point at GM’s LT level when required
  • Builds relationships and effectively influences all senior management market stakeholders (GM, BUDs, and appropriate Leads for Marketing & Sales, Finance, Medical, Strategy & Operations) to advance the culture of customer insight and data driven engagement strategies and plans
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of a consistent approach to engagement planning and content strategy which is channel agnostic, data driven and customer centric leveraging the Customer Engagement Framework in collaboration with the business, BI&A and WW data integration & analytics capability team
  • Provides digital expertise into the ongoing evolution of customer engagement model by working with business leads on critical business priorities
  • Leads planning across multiple internal business partners including medical, commercial, access, and engaging with multiple customers including HCP and consumer
  • Leads by example through driving seamless and timely interaction and communications between the business (e.g., brand, medical, strategy and operations), the Worldwide Engagement Planning and Content Capabilities team, Business Information and Analytics (BI&A), matrix teams and agencies.  Partners with business and WCC functions (e.g., field strategy/operations, meetings/congresses, patient engagement) on development of channel-agnostic engagement and content strategy followed by more specific digital channel strategy to meet business and customer needs
  • Leverage and embed Digital Capabilities and Touchpoint Optimization principles, standards and best practices to drive customer engagement for the business.  Examples include and are not limited to CRM, web sites, IVAs, eMail, Social Media, Remote Engagement and Search Engine Marketing.  Other examples to be identified based on business/customer needs and prioritized according to the Capabilities Roadmaps.  
  • Identify and run experiments with capabilities team to pilot/scale future digital marketing capabilities
  • Identifies long-term process needs of the business partners focused on digital capabilities and drives the development and execution a plan to address these.  Identify opportunities for synergies and collaboration within and across markets within a therapeutic area
  • Provides leadership and oversight for the evaluation, improvement, and enhancement of in-market functional capabilities related to Customer Engagement Planning and Content capabilities (e.g. consent acquisition strategy)
  • Ensures application of global standards, operating models, frameworks and templates to drive high quality deliverables to successfully achieve business objectives
  • Drives innovation culture in collaboration with the business

Scope of Requirements

  • At least 5 - 7 years of professional experience in a multichannel / omnichannel marketing environment with in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Leadership experience
  • University Degree in science or business
  • Experience in working in a broad matrix structure, dealing with multiple different business partners internally and externally on a global and local level
  • Keen on innovative ideas incl. machine learning 
  • Proven track record in driving a team towards a common vision
  • Ability to catch people and win their hearts
  • Used to worked with members of senior leadership teams (local and global)
  • Ability to perform in both manners: strategically and operative/hands-on
  • Excellent command of the English as well the German language
