Your responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Global Medical Affairs Medical Communication & Publication and with the Medical Communication & Publication team in the Therapeutic area Specialty and Value Product
  • Prepare scientific materials (scientific slides, Q&A documents, MI guidance documents etc.), and manage the review process and quality check (QC) of global scientific and commercial material for internal and external use
  • Develop and execute global projects for scientific communication, medical information  and medical education/training
  • Manage the Edoxaban Science portal (ESP), with content and updates
  • Develop and implement execution strategies and plans for internal and external medical education, including Global Medical Affairs training, and external events like satellite symposia and other scientific education programs according to the global medical plans plan and by the needs of Global Medical Affairs Therapeutic areas
  • Initiate review of draft deliverables for scientific exchange meetings and company sponsored symposia according to internal review and approval policy under consideration of local compliance and legal regulations
  • Manage content delivery through multiple channels (digital, virtual, face to face and material) by involving  external vendors
  • Collaborate closely with global/ regional/local  teams to prepare for customized educational and scientific exchange meetings
  • Budget planning and management of Medical communication/education related projects in alignment with workstream leaders and global project manager Specialty & Value Products
  • Identify and develop  multi-channel digital solutions to educate internal and external customers and manage content delivery (digital, virtual, face to face and material) by involving  external vendors
  • Develop innovative educational  concepts that address internal and external educational needs and knowledge gaps  on a timely manner according to the product milestones and educational needs

Your qualifications

  • University degree in Medical Sciences or Life Sciences
  • At least a minimum of 4-6 years' working experience in Medical Affairs and working in an international matrix organization
  • Excellent English skills in written and spoken; fluency in a second major European language would be an advantage
  • Proven track record to manage multiple projects
  • Relevant experience in developing scientific material, the review processes, planning and organisation of training and scientific exchange meetings
  • Experience in Cardiology/Thrombosis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrable intercultural competency and ability to build effective working relationships (internal/external)
  • Proven track record of leadership skills, also in matrix organizations
  • Strong and proven willingness to perform
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills as well as passion for  science
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
